Having always been passionate about art and nature, I mainly paint naturalistic subjects.
I have focused on this particular type of painting after having taken part in drawing courses given by the naturalistic artist Tiziana Lerda, from Cuneo, starting in 2013.
Numerous journeys to some of the world’s most majestic natural wonders have inspired me to paint portrayals of the animal kingdom, endeavouring to recreate its fascination and diversity.
I’m particularly interested in the anatomic and behavioural aspects of the subjects I paint, with the aim of recreating a tangible authenticity.
I’ve exhibited in Canada (Vancouver), United States (Florida, Arizona), United Kingdom (London) and Italy (Rome, Milan, Venaria Reale, Lucca and Cuneo).
I am a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation (AFC) and a member of the Society of Animal Artists (SAA), the two most prestigious international organizations of wildlife artists.
I’ve attended the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.
I have been a member of Aipan (Italian Association for Naturalistic Art) since 2018.
I participated in two of the Association’s collective exhibitions: Disegnare la Natura con gli occhi di Leonardo in Veneria Reale and L’Albero degli Alberi at the Museo Orto Botanico in Rome.
In 2019 I inaugurated my first solo exhibition, entitled Luoghi e tempi della Resistenza at the Museo Casa Galimberti, organized in collaboration with Leonardo Dolce.
I have worked with AMANO, an Italian company that offers personalized products on behalf of luxury brands (among which are Louis Vuitton and Montblanc).
I’ve been selected for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 AFC Live Exhibit Tour, on display in Vancouver, BC and St. Petersburg, Florida.
I’ve been awarded a Medal of Excellence and one of my paintings, Thanatos, has been selected as the cover for the 2021 AFC Environmental Calendar.
In 2021 I’ve participated to a prestigious exhibition of contemporary art organized by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan titled Nulla Dies Sine Linea.
I am represented in the UK by the Clarendon Fine Art galleries.
